I had the awesome privilege of photographing my best friends birth.  She delivered her baby girl *three days* before I had my baby girl.  This was such an awesome experience for me!  I was actually there photographing her delivery on MY due date.  God has blessed my dear friend and I so much!  Words cannot express how thankful I am for Meagen’s friendship and that I was able to be there to capture this beautiful moment!!!

Abby is such a sweet girl with an adorable personality!  She was a pleasure to photograph along with her awesome Mommy and Daddy!

We were able to take the weekend and escape to the lake.  We had such a good time lounging around the cabin, swimming, and putting the pier together.  While we were out near warsaw, we took the opportunity to have Jaci Forshtay (a friend from college and great photographer) take our family portraits.  We had a blast!  The boys are still asking me if we can go see fireworks when it gets dark.  They don’t fully understand this once a year concept yet.  Hehe.

I had the awesome privilege of shooting this wedding as a second shooter for Wendy Bunch Photography!  Working with Wendy was a joy and photographing this awesome couple was so much fun!  I love weddings!

This sweet baby boy was a delight to work with!  Handling a little newborn made me all the more anxious for my baby to arrive!

My great friend Jen and I have become very close friends originally because of our love for photography.  We also share the desire to glorify God with our lives and our work.  I am so thankful for the friendship I have with her and I was lucky enough to be the one she asked to do her family photos!  I very much enjoyed our session and the outcome of beautiful photos of a beautiful family!  Thanks for asking me to do these for you Jen!  Enjoy your photos.

A beautiful baby boy was born to Megan and Tony and I was blessed enough to be a part of it!  I was so impressed with Megan as she labored so well and was a total champ in the delivery room!  I was there for 2 hours total.  Not quite sure how she managed that.  Any woman would be so envious of how fast this mama’s labor and delivery was.  Enjoy this post!

I had the awesome opportunity of attending a newborn workshop.  The group worked with three different newborns and, oh my, were they lovable.  Posing, soothing, and editing were all part of the class and boy is there a wealth of information out there!  I am so looking forward to working with my own newborn clients!  Check out the “pricing” page for newborn portfolio building specials going on during the summer months!

My baby! my first born son! has completed his first year of pre-school!  I am so proud yet so sad just knowing that he is growing up and that full days of kindergarten are in the near future!  I am trying to remember to soak it all in and to enjoy every moment I have with these children God has given me as one day they will be all grown up and gone from me!  I love you my sweet Micah buddy!

Micah turns 4!  I just can’t believe my first born son was given to me four years ago!  How could the time have gone so fast??  And Meagen’s boy, THREE??  We have been so blessed with our boys!  Our good friends the Spencer family, and ours, had a great time celebrating our son’s birthdays together this year!  We are looking forward to many more…me not so much the growing up part.

A celebration of love no doubt!!  I enjoyed photographing this special event as it was an awesome testimony to the love this couple has shared for many years!!!  The Irish/Scottish theme was SO fun.  Congratulations on your many years together!
